While the most common reason doctors train under Dr. Poon is to earn their ACCF/AHA Level 2 certification in cardiac imaging, we can tailor your training to help you achieve certification at any level, to earn AMA PRA Category 1 Credits ™, or simply for professional development.Level 2 Certification In general, to qualify for your ACCF/AHA Level 2 certification, you must have 100 mentored reads and 50 live reads of CT scans. Under Dr. Poon’s instruction, this currently requires one week (5 days) of training. Accreditation and CME Certification This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of the Institute for Advanced Medical Education and Global CVCT Consulting LLC. The Institute for Advanced Medical Education is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
